Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 2026
Applicable Law: Swiss Federal Law
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the RosterRadar application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must not access the Service. The Service is provided from Switzerland and is governed primarily by Swiss law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
2. Description of Service
RosterRadar is a decentralized personal scheduling and social networking tool crafted specifically for aviation professionals. It parses personal ".ics" calendar feeds provided voluntarily by users to construct a unified dashboard of duties, flights, and layovers.
3. Acceptable Use & Account Responsibilities
As a user of the Service, you agree to:
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Only link Calendar (ICS) URLs that belong to you personally. You may not parse or upload schedules belonging to other crew members without their explicit consent.
- Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including violating any aviation regulations or company policies regarding data sharing.
4. Data Accuracy and Liability
Critical Aviation Disclaimer: RosterRadar is an unofficial, third-party convenience tool. It is not certified flight software. You must ALWAYS verify your official roster through your airline's approved portals. We accept zero liability for missed flights, duty limit violations, or scheduling errors caused by syncing delays or parser inaccuracies.
5. Service Availability (SLA)
While we strive for 100% uptime, RosterRadar is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Switzerland.
